I’m Joe Mallette and I created Element 13 Designs for my business identity as a freelance web and graphic designer. I use this site to help promote my portfolio of work over the years, the clients I have been privileged to work with, and the current promotions I am offering.
Having grown up in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada I studied in the graphic design programs at Niagara College and George Brown College. I spent the last 4 years working as the sole graphic and web designer at a local company producing many different types of projects for a wide array of clients. My work has been used by clients in a number of different fields including conservation, provincial and federal government, non-profits and the auto industry.
During this time I was able to do ample amounts of freelance work to keep my creative juices flowing. It was in September of 2010 that I decided that the unique clients and exciting ideas of the freelance market is where I wanted to focus my talents. Clients that I have worked with as a freelancer over the years have allowed me to work in unique industries like mixed martial arts, emergency services, wineries, local government, manufacturing and fitness.
For the last 10 years I have spent my time sharpening my skills in a variety of styles and aspects of design to help my clients in any situation. Of course I offer great designs and the best customer service in the area, but where I differ from most other designers and companies is that I offer some crazy promotions.
My core belief in business is that exceptional customer service is worth every penny. I thrive on helping small companies grow and what drives me is the ability to work with companies using my vast array of design skills and knowledge to provide them with the perfect solution to their design needs.
